Ronde vijf in Tsjechië verplaatst naar Kaplice.
Na de dramatische vierde ronde in Lange Estland, waarin Etienne Bax en Ondrej Cermak werden bestraft met tien plaatsen en hierdoor de voorsprong in de tussenstand verloren, zijn alle ogen nu gericht op de volgende ronde in Dalecin, Tsjechië. Met zo'n korte titeljacht van zes ronden en twaalf races voor 2022, is de kans voor Bax-Cermak om die verloren punten in te halen, afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid van de volledige kalender. Vanwege de moeilijkheden van het wereldwijde financiële klimaat, lokale overheidskwesties en andere factoren buiten de controle van iedereen, kan de geplande vijfde ronde in Dalecin nu niet doorgaan zoals bedoeld was. Gezien het toch al verkorte schema en het toegevoegde belang van het zien van een waardig en zinvolle kampioenschapsachtervolging, werden het team van WSC, de FIM en alle betrokken partijen dringend verzocht een vervangende locatie te vinden. We zijn dan ook verheugd aan te kondigen dat het Kaplice-motorcrosscomplex in Zuid-Bohemen, dichtbij de Oostenrijkse grens, heeft toegezegd om de GP op de geplande data van 3 en 4 september te houden. Dit is geweldig nieuws en het resultaat van een grote mate van samenwerking tussen alle partijen. Ronde vijf ligt dus nog steeds op schema en we kijken allemaal reikhalzend uit naar de gebruikelijke warme welkom door de Tsjechische toeschouwers en het grote publiek op wat een cruciaal weekend zal worden voor de titelverdediger en de nieuwe serieleiders Kert Varik en Lari Kunnas. WSC wil alle betrokkenen bedanken voor hun hulp bij deze late verandering, en oprecht hoop koesteren om in de toekomst samen te werken met de Dalecin-organisatoren. Round Five in Czech Republic moves to Kaplice
Following the dramatic fourth round in Lange Estonia which saw Etienne Bax and Ondrej
Cermak penalised ten places thereby losing them the series lead, all eyes were on the next
round in Dalecin, Czech Republic. With such a short six-round and twelve-race title chase for 2022, the chance for Bax/Cermato make up those lost points depended on the full calendar being available.
Due to the difficulties of the global financial climate, local government issues and other
factors outside the control of everyone, the planned fifth round in Dalecin cannot now
proceed as intended.
Given the already shortened schedule and the added importance of seeing a worthy and
meaningful championship chase, the team at WSC, the FIM and all involved parties urgently
sought a replacement venue.
We are delighted to announce that the Kaplice motocross complex in South Bohemia, close
to the Austrian border, has now undertaken to run the GP on the scheduled dates
(September 3-4 th ). This is great news, and the result of a large degree of cooperation
between all parties.
Round Five therefore is still on target, and we all eagerly to look forward to the usual warm
welcome given by the Czech spectators and general public on what will be a crucial weekend
for the defending champions and the new series leaders Kert Varik and Lari Kunnas.

hope to be working with the Dalecin organisers in the future.
